Murray Cod Australia Ltd (ASX:MCA) has announced that Mr. Ross Anderson will cease his role as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Company, effective Friday, 20 February. To ensure continuity of leadership, Mr. Mat Ryan, Executive Director - Production and Development, and Mr. Roger Commins, Non-Executive Director have been appointed to act as Interim Joint Chief Executive Officers. Mr. Anderson will assist with an orderly handover of responsibilities. The Company further advises that it is actively involved in a search for a suitably qualified Chief Executive Officer and expects to update the market in the near term. MCA Chairman Brett Paton thanked Ross Anderson for his efforts and commitment since co-founding Murray Cod Australia, stating that he has played an important role in establishing the Company and positioning it for its next phase. The Chairman also thanked Mat Ryan and Roger Commins for stepping into the role of Interim Joint CEOs and expressed the Company's expectation to appoint a new CEO with suitable experience in food distribution to ensure the business is set up for sustainable growth over the long term.
