Key Bonnie & Clyde Tenement Granted
- Bonnie & Clyde (E28/3543) tenement granted, enabling ground-based exploration
- Program of Work submitted for 50-hole RC drilling program at Bonnie & Clyde
- Detailed geological review identifies further evidence of Tropicana-style mineralisation
BPM Minerals Ltd (ASX: BPM) is pleased to report that the key E28/3543 tenement, which hosts the Bonnie & Clyde Prospects, has been granted. The tenement forms part of the Forelands Gold Project located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. A detailed geological review of the Bonnie & Clyde and the broader regional setting have identified further evidence of Tropicana-style mineralisation, underpinning the belief that Bonnie & Clyde and the broader Project area have the potential to host a major gold deposit. The grant of the tenement clears the way for BPM to begin systematic, ground-based exploration, with soil sampling due to commence shortly. The company has also submitted a Program of Work for an initial 50-hole RC maiden drilling program targeting Bonnie & Clyde. The geological review has further clarified BPM's belief that the Bonnie & Clyde prospect and the broader project have the potential to host a major gold deposit. The Forelands project is located in a highly prospective structural setting, with major Archean NNW translithospheric faults intersecting the Yilgarn Craton-Albany Fraser Orogen Boundary, a configuration considered highly favourable for gold mineralisation. The review of historical exploration at the adjacent Dragonfly prospect has identified Tropicana-style mineralisation, with characteristics consistent with the Tropicana deposit. The convergence of first-order structures, Tropicana-style mineralisation and deformation, and the extremely anomalous surface geochemical responses at Bonnie & Clyde have materially enhanced BPM's confidence in the project's potential to host a significant Tropicana-style gold system.
With the Bonnie & Clyde tenement now granted, BPM is well positioned to move quickly, starting with soil sampling and progressing toward a maiden RC drill program to test the Bonnie & Clyde targets. The company also plans to recommence drilling at the Beachcomber Prospect and the broader Beachcomber area in early March 2026, with approximately 5,000m of RC drilling currently planned.
