Boundiali extends strike and depth at BDT3 and BST1
- BDT3 strike grows 600m north of current resource model
- BST1 depth extended by 130m below current resource model
- Boundiali and Napié MRE updates and Boundiali PFS on track for Q1 2026
Aurum Resources (ASX: AUE) is pleased to announce high-grade gold results from its ongoing 100,000m diamond drilling program at the 2.41Moz Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire. The results from drilling on the BDT3 and BST1 deposits provide final data for inclusion in the Boundiali Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) update scheduled for release later this month. At BDT3, Aurum completed 11 DD holes for 2,715.90m to increase the known extent of gold mineralisation, with hole DSDD0361 returning 9m @ 8.15 g/t Au from 207m including 2m @ 35.83 g/t Au, confirming high-grade mineralisation 600m north of the current resource model's limit. At BST1, the company completed 13 DD holes for 4,492.30m, successfully confirming growth by an average of around 130m vertically below the current MRE on sections drilled, demonstrating that the BST1 system remains open along strike and at depth. The results will be integrated into the upcoming Boundiali MRE update, and Aurum believes the potential for blind discoveries remains, providing a clear pathway for resource growth in subsequent updates planned for H2 CY2026. The company is leveraging its strong balance sheet and self-owned drill fleet to maintain a continuous news flow throughout CY2026, focusing on rapid resource conversion and economic de-risking, with the Boundiali PFS expected in Q1 CY2026 and a Definitive Feasibility Study targeted for late 2026.
Aurum is planning further work with drilling ongoing, including up to 100,000m of drilling across the Boundiali project to test strike and depth extensions, as well as a 30,000m diamond drilling program at the Napié Gold Project to grow the existing 0.87Moz gold resource. The company is also advancing early-stage growth projects through the Encore JV and Major Star Plus partnership.
