Sonic Healthcare Limited reported a 16.6% increase in revenue to A$5,445 million for the half year ended 31 December 2025. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 9.7% to A$907 million, while net profit attributable to shareholders increased 10.9% to A$262 million. The company's earnings per share rose 7.7% to A$0.531. Sonic's results were driven by strong organic revenue growth of 5%, as well as contributions from recent acquisitions. The company demonstrated operating leverage and synergy realisation, with EBITDA margin enhancement in the majority of the business. Sonic continued to focus on cost control and is undertaking an operating review of its US business, including rationalisation of its anatomical pathology operations. The company maintained its full-year EBITDA guidance range of A$1.87 to A$1.95 billion on a constant currency basis. Sonic also announced a 2.3% increase in its interim dividend to 45 cents per share, continuing its progressive dividend policy.

Sonic's FY2026 EBITDA guidance is in the range of A$1.87 to A$1.95 billion on a constant currency basis. Depreciation (including of leased assets) is forecast to be A$770 to A$780 million on a constant currency basis, and net interest expense is expected to increase by ~15% from the FY2025 level due to recent business acquisitions. The effective tax rate is expected to be ~27%.

Sonic Healthcare remains focused on organic growth, cost control, and capital management initiatives.
