Coonambula drilling continues to deliver high grade results
- Record high gold, silver and antimony grades returned from Banshee prospect
- Multiple broader zones show strong Au-Ag-Sb mineralisation continuity
- Mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth, supporting resource growth
Great Divide Mining Ltd has provided an update on the 4,000m drilling programme being undertaken by its Farm-In Joint Venture partner, Dart Mining NL, at the former Banshee Antimony Mine within the Coonambula Antimony-Gold Project in Central Queensland. The highlights include record high gold, silver and antimony grades returned from the Banshee prospect, with CBADD010 delivering the highest gold assay of 0.2m @ 20.20 g/t, CBADD004 producing the record silver result of 0.6m @ 234 g/t, and CBADD010 returning the record antimony result of 0.6m @ 44.6% Sb. Multiple broader zones also show strong Au-Ag-Sb mineralisation continuity, and the mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth, supporting resource growth. Dart Mining has completed 2,594 metres of diamond drilling at Banshee to date, and further drilling results are expected in the coming months as the company works towards a JORC-compliant Antimony-Gold Resource.
Dart Mining is focused on systematically building out the drilling programme to pave the way for a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate at the Coonambula Project, and is commencing a programme for metallurgical test work to better characterise recovery factors and establish a proposed/conceptual flowsheet for processing.
