Murray Cod Australia Ltd (ASX:MCA) has announced the appointment of Mr. Steven Chaur as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective April 20, 2026. Chaur, who is currently a Non-Executive Director of MCA, will transition to an Executive Director upon commencing in the CEO role. He brings close to 30 years of sales, brand marketing, product development, and operations leadership experience in top branded Australian consumer food products, large-scale agricultural production, and retail business development. Chaur has held CEO and Managing Director roles at several companies, including Hiro Brands Limited, Castlegate James Australasia, Nutrano Produce Group, Patties Food Limited, and Saint-Gobain Pacific. He is also the current Board Chair at Honestly Riverina Limited and a past Non-Executive Director at Wingara AG Limited, Meat & Livestock Australia, and Davies Bakeries. The MCA Board is confident that Chaur's strong commercial focus and experience will be instrumental in increasing proactivity in domestic channel development, growing revenues, and optimizing operating efficiencies to ensure the business achieves sustainable growth over the long term.
