Synertec Corporation Ltd (ASX: SOP) has been awarded operational technology projects with Sydney Water Corporation ('Sydney Water'), with a total contract value exceeding $1 million. The activities involve upgrades to existing Sydney Water facilities, with delivery scheduled over the next 12 months. Synertec has now executed agreements with all of Sydney Water's Regional Delivery Partners, consisting of Confluence Water (Ventia, Downer Utilities and Jacobs) servicing the North Region, Delivering4Customers (John Holland, Service Stream and WSP) servicing the South Region, and West Regional Delivery Team (Fulton Hogan Utilities, Abergeldie Contractors, Programmed Facility Management, Stantec and Atlas) servicing the West Region. These agreements enable Synertec to provide operational technology, electrical and control system engineering services in support of Sydney Water's long-term capital and operational program over the next 10 years, with a total budget of $34 Billion. The company has also established a Sydney office, including the appointment of a State Manager, to further facilitate its engagement with Sydney Water and other New South Wales clients. Synertec's Managing Director, Michael Carroll, commented that the company is taking its deep industry knowledge with Melbourne Water nationally, with the goal of being recognized as a trusted water industry expert by every major Australian water utility.
