Tim Laneyrie, the previous CEO, will now take on the role of Technical Director, focusing on resource growth and exploration for the company's Cerro Bayo silver-gold project.The changes are aimed at aligning the skills and experience of Andean's senior team with the company's evolving and rapidly growing opportunities. Matt Allen, who previously served as Andean's Chief Financial Officer, brings significant experience as a global resources CEO, having been the Managing Director & CEO of Otto Energy Limited from 2014 to 2020. He has a demonstrated track record in delivering major resources projects, corporate and project funding, and M&A transactions.In his new role, Matt will continue to build the Andean team to deliver further growth at the Cerro Bayo project. Tim Laneyrie, who has been instrumental in leading and executing Andean's highly successful exploration strategy, will now be fully dedicated to continuing to advance the Cerro Bayo project's exploration and resource portfolio.Andean Chairman David Southam stated that the leadership transition is a natural progression, as the company's requirements and opportunities have evolved rapidly.
