Full Summary

AUB Group Ltd, an ASX200 listed group comprising insurance brokers and underwriting agencies, has reported a strong performance in the first half of FY26. The company's Underlying Net Profit After Tax (NPAT) increased by 14.0% to AUD 90.4 million, compared to AUD 79.3 million in the prior corresponding period. Underlying earnings per share also grew, reaching 77.54 cents, up from 68.07 cents in 1H25. The company's reported Net Profit After Tax was AUD 35.3 million, up from AUD 26.4 million in the previous corresponding period. AUB Group has declared a fully franked interim dividend of 27.0 cents per share, an 8.0% increase from the 1H25 dividend of 25.0 cents per share. The interim dividend will be payable on 2 April 2026 to shareholders on the register at 5:00pm on 13 March 2026. The company's performance was driven by strong organic and bolt-on acquisition growth in its Australian Broking and International divisions, as well as solid profit growth in its Agencies division. However, the New Zealand Broking division reported a 12.8% decrease in Underlying Net Profit Before Tax due to weakness in the corporate market. The company's BizCover division continued to deliver strong organic revenue growth and margin expansion. AUB Group has also appointed Nick Dryden as the new Chief Financial Officer, effective 24 February 2026. Nick joined the company as Deputy CFO in June 2023 and was appointed Interim CFO on 16 September 2025.
