Managing Director Resigns from Platina Resources
- Platina's Managing Director, Corey Nolan, has tendered his resignation
- Nolan has been with the company for over 7 years, leading its strategic transformation
- Platina is well-funded and positioned to advance its gold exploration and development strategy
Platina Resources Limited (ASX: PGM) has announced that its Managing Director, Mr Corey Nolan, has tendered his resignation and will be leaving the company in line with his three-month notice period. Mr Nolan has been involved with Platina for more than seven years and during this time led the successful strategic transformation of the company from a platinum and specialty metals focused entity to a Western Australian gold-focused explorer. A key milestone of this transition was the divestment of Platina's scandium project to Rio Tinto, which has left the company well-funded and strongly positioned to advance its gold exploration and development strategy. Platina Chairman, Mr Brian Moller, has regrettably accepted Mr Nolan's resignation but understands his desire to pursue a new opportunity after over seven years in the role. The Board has thanked Mr Nolan for his significant contribution to Platina over the past seven years and wishes him every success in his future endeavours. The Board will shortly commence a search for a new Managing Director, both internally and externally.
