ClearView Wealth Limited (ASX: CVW) has reported strong 1H26 performance, with Life Insurance Underlying Net Profit After Tax (NPAT) up 59% to $24.1m at a margin of 11.2% (up 3.2%). The 1H26 result highlights the continued revenue momentum and growth in underlying earnings, with Group Underlying NPAT up 77% to $22.1m and Group Underlying EPS up 84%. Premium growth was also strong, with gross premium income up 13% to $215.6m and in-force premiums up 13% to $436.0m. New business written in the half-year period was up 29% to $21.0m, with the company maintaining a steady market share of 10-11%. ClearView has completed its transformation, now operating on a single cloud-based insurance platform, which has reduced complexity and system duplication. The business simplification and technology transformation have led to a progressive reduction in the cost-to-income ratio, down by 1.7% to 17.9%. ClearView is now building a digital front-end that offers a multi-device single view of the customer, targeting seamless back-end integration. The company remains focused on maintaining a prudent capital position, with a net surplus capital position of $11.3m and a PCA capital coverage ratio of 4.5X.
