Empire Resources Limited (ASX: ERL) has received preliminary assay results from a 1,631m (45 hole) aircore drilling program completed in January 2026 at its Yuinmery Copper-Gold Project. The drilling primarily targeted new gold mineralization, with significant results reported across several prospects including Smiths Well, YT12, Battlers, YT14, Microbe Well and Marcus. Highlights include 8m @ 671ppb Au from 28m at Smiths Well, 4m @ 134ppb Au from 24m at YT12, and 8m @ 286ppb Au from 32m at Battlers. The drilling also extended the potential link between the YT01 and YT19 copper-gold prospects, with hole YAC26-07 returning 8m @ 139ppb Au and 1,853ppm Cu from 12m. Empire plans to follow up these results with deeper, more effective RC drilling to further test the new gold leads and copper-gold mineralization.
