Careteq Ltd (ASX: CTQ) has requested a trading halt of its securities on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), effective immediately. The trading halt has been requested in connection with a proposed equity raising to be conducted by the company by way of a share placement. The trading halt will allow the placement to take place in an orderly fashion. Careteq has requested that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, or the release of an announcement by the company in relation to the proposed equity raising. Careteq has stated that it is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, nor any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
