$12.74M Placement to Accelerate Exploration Drilling
- Successful $12.74 million placement to institutional and sophisticated investors
- Proceeds to advance exploration at the Murchison Gold Projects and West Arunta Project
- Caprice well-funded with approximately $15 million in cash after placement
Caprice Resources Ltd (ASX: CRS) has received firm commitments to raise $12.74 million (before costs) through a successful placement to institutional and sophisticated investors. The placement involved the issue of 159,250,000 fully paid ordinary shares at an offer price of $0.08 per new share. The transformational placement will significantly strengthen the company's balance sheet, placing it in an excellent position to grow the company via exploration on its high-grade Murchison Gold Projects and the West Arunta Project. Funds raised, together with existing cash, will be applied to exploration programs at the Island Gold, Comet and Cuddingwarra Projects, including reverse circulation and diamond drilling to expand known high-grade gold mineralization and test new targets. Additionally, geophysical surveys will be conducted at the West Arunta Chobe Project to deliver new drill targets. The company is well-funded with approximately $15 million in cash following the settlement of the placement.
With multiple drilling and exploration programs advancing, the company expects a strong and sustained pipeline of news flow over the coming months as results are received.
