Bonanza Grades Confirm High-Grade Continuity at Wagtail
Key Points
  • Infill RC drilling returns shallow high-grade gold intersections at the Wagtail Gold Deposit
  • Results confirm strong grade continuity within the existing JORC (2012) Mineral Resource
  • Drilling also returned several end-of-hole intersections and step-out holes north of the resource ended in mineralisation, indicating potential for extensions
Full Summary

High-Tech Metals Ltd has reported further assay results from the recently completed infill reverse-circulation (RC) drilling at the Wagtail Gold Deposit. The program was designed to increase geological confidence within the existing Mineral Resource and test local extensions to known mineralisation. New results include several shallow high-grade intersections confirming continuity within the known mineralised vein system, such as 12m @ 8.81 g/t Au from 43m including 1m @ 84.11 g/t Au from 50m, and 9m @ 7.04 g/t Au from 56m including 1m @ 92.15 g/t Au from 81m. The drilling also intersected several mineralised zones at the end of hole, indicating the potential for mineralisation to extend beyond the currently modelled quartz-vein system. Four holes drilled immediately north of the current resource area also intersected low-grade mineralisation, with three holes ending in mineralisation, suggesting the potential for extensions to the Wagtail mineralised system. The Company is reviewing the structural interpretation at Wagtail to assess the potential for additional high-grade shoots. Upcoming activities include finalising assay results, an updated Mineral Resource estimate, ongoing metallurgical testwork, geotechnical drilling, and permitting and mine design studies to assess the potential for near-term production from Wagtail.

Outlook

The Company is progressing an updated resource estimate and advancing development studies in collaboration with its mining JV partner SSH Group to assess the potential for near-term production from Wagtail.
