Full Summary

Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited (EOS) has announced that it has secured two new unconditional orders for counter-drone systems with a total value of US$45m (approx. A$64m). The first order is a US$42m (approx. A$59m) order for EOS' Slinger Remote Weapon System (RWS) from an established customer country in the Middle East. The order includes the Slinger RWS, cannons, platform integration, spares, training and other supplies, and is intended to strengthen the customer's defence systems in light of escalating regional conflicts. The second order is for US$3m (approx. A$5m) from a large established US Defence contractor for integration into a counter-drone weapon system. Both orders are expected to be fulfilled during 2026, and the delivery program may require EOS to re-assess its production schedules during 2026 and 2027. EOS has also continued discussions with several Middle Eastern governments and representatives regarding the provision of advanced counter-drone systems, including its Slinger RWS, High-Energy Laser Weapon APOLLO product range, and other related products for infrastructure protection, and views that the current military conflict may accelerate those opportunities, although there is no guarantee that any additional orders will be secured.
