Second Diamond Drillhole Commenced at Three Saints
- Second diamond drill hole underway at Three Saints IOCG project in Chile
- Program designed to test continuity and scale of potential mineralized IOCG-system
- Assay results from Three Saints drill holes expected in Q2 2026
- IP + MT geophysical surveys underway at Los Loros Porphyry project, Chile
Lodestar Minerals Limited (ASX: LSR) has announced the commencement of the second diamond drill hole at its newly identified IOCG target at the Three Saints Project in northern Chile. This second diamond drillhole, L3SRD002, is a follow-up to the maiden hole L3SRD003, which intercepted visible chalcopyrite (copper sulphide) mineralization between 190m to 600m - End of Hole (EOH). The current drill program is designed to confirm the continuity of the sulphide mineralization, test across the identified geophysical anomaly interpreted to represent a larger mineralized system, refine the geological model, and assess the potential for a significant IOCG system at Three Saints. In parallel, Lodestar is advancing its other Chilean project, Los Loros, with an IP+MT geophysical survey underway to give an indication of the extent of the sulphides at depth and enhance depth coverage. The results from the drilling at Three Saints are expected during Q2 2026, and further drilling may be planned subject to the results.
Lodestar is focused on defining the scale and continuity of the newly identified IOCG-system at the Three Saints Project in Chile. The company is also advancing its Los Loros Porphyry Cu-Mo project, with geophysical surveys underway ahead of a planned drilling program in May.
