Brookside Energy Ltd has announced that operations have commenced at its next two-well development pad in the SWISH Area of Interest (AOI) in the Anadarko Basin, Oklahoma. Earthworks are now underway at the site, with pad preparation and lease access activities in progress. These operations mark the first step in the execution of Brookside's next phase of development drilling, with the program on track to commence in May 2026. The wells, named Sabres and Whalers, will be drilled from a two-well pad targeting the company's core intervals, the Sycamore and Woodford formations, within the SWISH AOI. This approach is consistent with Brookside's focus on repeatable, multi-well development across the SWISH AOI and builds on the strong performance of previous wells in the area. The program forms part of Brookside's ongoing development activities within its core acreage position. Commenting on these operations, Brookside Managing Director & CEO David Prentice stated that the company is back on the ground in the SWISH AOI with operations underway on the next pad, which will put them on track to begin drilling in May. He noted that results across the SWISH AOI have been consistent, and the company remains focused on executing this next phase of the program efficiently.
