Field Programs Underway Across Multiple Targets in Bobija
- Phase 2 drilling program commenced at Bobija Mine area
- Step-out soil sampling commenced across Tisovik area
- Expanded in-country exploration team and infrastructure
Middle Island Resources has commenced its 2026 exploration program, initiating exploration activities across two highly prospective target areas in the Bobija Project area, Serbia. The Company has commenced Phase 2 drilling at the Bobija Mine site, comprising 17 drill holes for up to 1,500 metres. This will follow up on the exciting drilling results achieved in late 2025, which included 52m @ 1.17g/t Au, 26.0g/t Ag and 1.01% Zn. The Bobija deposit is an under-explored, high-grade polymetallic deposit, within a granted mining lease, surrounded by substantial, poorly-tested exploration tenure. The Company has also commenced step-out soil sampling programs in the Tisovik area, building on the recent discovery of a 5km long, open-ended zone, that is highly anomalous for silver, lead, zinc and antimony. The Company is also expanding its in-country exploration team and exploration infrastructure to support a significant ramp-up of exploration activity across 2026.
The Company looks forward to reporting on its future exploration programs as results come to hand throughout the year.
