Weebit Nano Ltd (ASX: WBT) has requested an immediate trading halt of its ordinary shares on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). The trading halt has been requested as Weebit expects to make an announcement to the ASX in connection with a proposed capital raising comprising an institutional placement and a share purchase plan. Weebit has requested that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of the opening of trading on Monday, 30 March 2026 or the time that Weebit makes an announcement in relation to completion of the institutional placement. Weebit expects that the trading halt will be ended by it making an announcement to the ASX in relation to completion of the institutional placement. Weebit is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or any other information necessary to inform the market about the requested trading halt.
