- Awarded major contract for enhanced perimeter security at Melbourne Airport
- Secured government panel listing for border security applications
- Expanded strategic partnership with Telstra to showcase Aura Ai-X technology
- Received multiple orders across the Americas, Middle East and Europe
Ava Risk Group Limited (ASX: AVA) has provided an update on its progress in key geographies and industry segments during Q3 FY2026. In the Asia Pacific region, the company has been selected by Melbourne Airport to lead Australia's most comprehensive enhanced Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS) trial, supporting the Department of Home Affairs' nationwide perimeter security directive. This builds on previous successful trials at Canberra and Cairns airports and validates Ava's Aura Ai-X technology for government use cases. Additionally, the company has executed an agreement with the Australia Department of Home Affairs, Border Protection Technologies Panel (BPTP), recognizing Ava's fibre optic sensing solutions as suitable for government border security applications. This positions the company to access a broad and recurring pipeline of Commonwealth contracts. Ava has also expanded its strategic footprint with Telstra, being selected as one of eight experience hubs to showcase Aura Ai-X across a nationwide roadshow and deploying the technology on a new-generation network segment in regional NSW. In the Americas, the company has received multiple orders for U.S. government sites and energy infrastructure projects. In the Middle East and Europe, Ava has received an order for government infrastructure protection in Azerbaijan and has a strong pipeline of key orders expected to close in H2 FY2026, including for Middle East sovereign border protection and energy infrastructure protection. The company also continues to focus on airport perimeter protection in the region. In the Access segment, the focus remains on growing U.S. distribution using the dormakaba network, with the company being invited to participate in dormakaba's PRO-Alliance event. Ava is also developing an updated reader range for the Access segment, including integration with Apple Wallet. The company is actively engaged in the CEO search process, which is expected to be finalized in H2 FY2026.
Ava Risk Group is well-positioned for growth in the second half of FY2026, with a strong pipeline of key orders across its geographies and industry segments, including major contracts for government border security, energy infrastructure protection, and airport perimeter security. The company's expanded technology partnerships and government panel listings are expected to drive further opportunities and streamline procurement processes.
