GOLDEN PLATEAU DRILL PROGRAM UPDATE
- Significant gold intersections returned from multiple lodes
- Drilling confirms significant mineralisation within remnants surrounding historical underground workings
- Drill program expanded from 6,400m to approximately 14,000m
Aeris Resources Limited is pleased to provide an update on activities at the Golden Plateau deposit, located within the Company's 100% owned Cracow tenement package in Queensland. The latest drilling from Golden Plateau has strengthened the Company's confidence in the deposit's potential to become a new ore source for Cracow. High-grade drill results have been consistently reported across multiple lodes, confirming the presence of significant gold mineralisation around historical workings. On the back of these results, the Company is expanding the drill program from 6,400m to approximately 14,000m to expedite a Mineral Resource Estimate and an economic assessment of the project. Drilling at the Ferneyside lode has continued to deliver encouraging results, with a newly identified parallel lode, the Sunnyside lode, also discovered. Significant intersections have been reported from the South lode, with drill hole GPS140 returning 34.5m at 3.1g/t Au, including 7.3m at 7.5g/t Au. The West lode has also returned significant assay intersections, with highlights including 7.1m at 4.9g/t Au and 6.8m at 4.2g/t Au. The expanded drill program of approximately 14,000m is continuing, with results to be incorporated into an updated geological model to support open-pit mine design and environmental permitting assessments. The Company's objective is to update the Golden Plateau Mineral Resource estimate to support an economic assessment of the project.
The Company remains focused on advancing Golden Plateau as a potential major ore source for the Cracow Operation.
