New High-Grade Diamond Assays to be Included in Upcoming MRE
- Assay results received for additional 8 diamond drill holes with significant intercepts including 105m @ 2.28g/t gold and 39.15m @ 2.38g/t gold
- Metallurgical drilling completed, with results demonstrating continuity and improved confidence of gold mineralization
- Drilling to continue targeting an updated Mineral Resource Estimate in Q4 2026 to accompany a pre-feasibility study
Many Peaks Minerals Limited (ASX:MPK) has announced assay results for an additional 8 diamond holes from the ongoing drilling at the Ferké Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire. The results include partial assay results from metallurgical and delineation drilling completed in February, with highlights such as 105m @ 2.28g/t gold from 28m, including 2m @ 26.9g/t gold and 3m @ 17.8g/t gold, and 39.15m @ 2.38g/t gold from surface to end of hole. These results further demonstrate the continuity of a substantial bulk-tonnage target at the Ouarigue prospect, with increasing gold grades at depth. The reported results form a key milestone for Many Peaks, representing a cut-off point for data to be incorporated into the planned Mineral Resource Estimation (MRE) for the Ouarigue prospect. Metallurgical drilling has also been completed, with preliminary results indicating the sulfide mineralization is non-refractory in nature. Further metallurgical work will be undertaken to support the upcoming pre-feasibility study. In addition to the partial assay results from metallurgical drilling, hole FNDC098 returned significant intercepts in the bounding metasediments and the mineralized intrusion. Many Peaks is continuing aggressive exploration drilling at the Ferké North permit, with plans to mobilize an RC drill rig shortly. The Company anticipates completion of an MRE update in Q2 2026 and plans to complete an updated MRE in Q4 to underpin a pre-feasibility study.
