Metal Hawk Limited (ASX: MHK) has announced the successful completion of a 2,734m reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at its 100% owned Leinster South Project, located in the Agnew-Lawlers region of Western Australia. The drilling program tested along the granite-greenstone contact and prospective gold corridor extending for more than 1km north from the Tysons prospect, including the priority SAM target. Additional follow-up holes were also completed at the eastern portion of the Thylacine prospect. The company will schedule further work following the receipt of initial assay results, which are expected in the next 3-4 weeks. Metal Hawk's Managing Director, Will Belbin, commented that the drilling campaign was completed without disruption, despite diesel shortages in the Goldfields region. Exploration activities at the broader Leinster South project are also progressing, with a geochemical soil sampling program recently completed east of the Tysons prospect and a ground gravity survey set to follow. The data from these programs will be used to define new targets and prospective areas for future drilling.
