Anson Completes Yellow Cat Drilling
- Confirmed mineralization extends between known uranium and vanadium historical workings, of a length of 2,500m along strike
- Thick mineralized zones up to 2m (6 feet) visually identified 400m west of the McCoy Group
- Previous exploration sampling had yielded values up to 10.33% U3O8 and 25.6% V2O5
Anson Resources Ltd (ASX: ASN) through its 100% owned subsidiary UV1 Minerals LLC has completed an initial exploration drilling program at its Yellow Cat Uranium Vanadium Project in Utah, USA. A total of 23 holes were drilled 3.5 km east of the known historical resource, and thick mineralized zones were identified. The drilling program confirmed that the mineralization continues along strike of both the two historical mine site locations, Cactus Rat & the McCoy Group, over a strike length of 2,500m. Uranium and vanadium was detected using a Ludlum Model 3 Survey Meter, with visually identified thick mineralized zones up to 2m (6 feet) located 400m west of the McCoy Group. Anson's previous exploration sampling had yielded values up to 10.33% U3O8 and 25.6% V2O5 from those mine sites. All samples from the drilling program have been sent to a certified laboratory for uranium, vanadium and other critical mineral assays, with results expected in 4 weeks. An infill drilling program will be designed to prove up a mineral resource between the historical mine sites.
