Vysarn Advances Kariyarra Water Scheme
- Vysarn's subsidiary shortlisted for Water Corporation's bulk water supply process
- Progressing regulatory approvals for water infrastructure
- Advancing commercial discussions with prospective off-takers
Vysarn Limited (ASX: VYS) has provided an update on the Kariyarra Water Scheme (KWS), including that its wholly owned subsidiary, Vysarn Asset Management (VAM), has been shortlisted by Water Corporation to proceed to Stage 2 of a process to be a prospective supplier of bulk water to the Port Hedland Water Supply Scheme. This follows VAM and the Kariyarra Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (KAC RNTBC), as joint venture partners of the KWS, lodging a Registration of Interest with Water Corporation to participate in the process. In parallel with the off-take discussions, VAM has also progressed other regulatory approvals on behalf of the joint venture that will be required to develop the KWS, including hydrogeological assessments, environmental approvals, local government approvals, and land tenure approvals associated with the construction of water infrastructure for the abstraction and delivery of water to end users.
