Long Term Suspended Entities on ASX
- List of entities suspended for over 3 months
- Deadline dates for lodging outstanding reports
- Deadline dates for resuming trading or face delisting
- ASX guidance on reinstatement and removal policy
ASX has released a market announcement detailing the long-term suspended entities on the ASX. The announcement provides information on the name and ASX code of each suspended entity, the periodic reports they have failed to lodge, and the deadlines they face to either lodge the outstanding reports or execute plans to resume trading, to ASX's satisfaction. If an entity does not meet the 1-year or 2-year deadlines, they will be removed from the official list, usually effective from the open of trading on the first trading day after the deadline date. ASX recommends that long-term suspended entities implement a system of periodic (at least quarterly) disclosures to keep the market and security holders updated on their status and plans for resuming trading. The announcement also explains ASX's removal policy for long-term suspended entities and notes that reinstatement of securities to quotation is not granted automatically, even if the suspension was imposed at the entity's request. ASX must be satisfied that the reasons for the ongoing suspension have been addressed and that the entity complies with the Listing Rules at the point of reinstatement.
