ASX has released an announcement regarding entities that have been suspended from trading for more than 3 months. The announcement provides a table listing the name and ASX code of each long-term suspended entity, the periodic reports they have failed to lodge, the deadlines for lodging the oldest outstanding report, and the deadline for the entity to execute its plans for trading in its securities to resume to ASX's satisfaction. If an entity does not meet the 1-year or 2-year deadlines, it will be removed from the official list, usually effective from the open of trading on the first trading day after the deadline date. ASX recommends that long-term suspended entities implement a system of periodic (at least quarterly) disclosures to keep the market and security holders updated on their status and plans for trading resumption. ASX's removal policy for long-term suspended entities is explained in Listing Rules Guidance Note 33, and in limited circumstances, ASX may grant a short extension to the deadline date.
