Omega Oil & Gas Ltd (ASX: OMA), a dynamic Australian exploration company focused on unlocking oil and gas resources in Queensland's Taroom Trough, has requested a trading halt in its securities. The trading halt has been requested pending the release of an announcement by the company in relation to a material Capital Raising Program. In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Omega has stated that the trading halt is necessary to assist the company in managing its continuous disclosure obligations, as it expects to make an announcement to the market regarding the Capital Raising Program. The trading halt will remain in place until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 23 April 2026, or the release of the announcement regarding the stated purpose. Omega has confirmed that it is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any further information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
