Elsight Limited (ASX: ELS) has announced that its Halo connectivity platform has been included in the U.S. Department of War's Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Blue List, a directory of approved, National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)-compliant unmanned aircraft systems and components. The DCMA Blue List provides a centralized marketplace for rapid procurement of vetted technologies that meet stringent operational, cybersecurity, data integrity, and supply chain requirements. Inclusion on the Blue List positions Halo as a leading connectivity solution for defense drone programs that require the highest operational reliability, reinforcing the delivery of continuous, secure connectivity in demanding conditions. This validation arrives as the U.S. defence drone sector enters its largest-ever procurement cycle, with the FY2027 budget request allocating approximately US$75 billion (A$105 billion) to drone and counter-drone capabilities. The Blue List is a critical enabler of this procurement scale-up, reducing acquisition friction and compressing contracting timelines to allow military units to deploy trusted technology without navigating traditional, multi-year acquisition cycles. With Chinese-manufactured platforms and components excluded under NDAA requirements, demand is concentrated among Blue List-approved providers. Elsight expects to see increased demand and accelerated deployment velocity for Halo-equipped systems across U.S. armed services and allied defence partners.
