Middle Island Resources Ltd has reported on its activities for the quarter ended 31 March 2026. The key highlights include the completion of a Phase 2 drilling program at the Bobija Polymetallic Project in Western Serbia, which follows up on a successful maiden drilling program that returned significant polymetallic intersections. The company also defined multiple large polymetallic targets at the Tisovik area, located 4km from Bobija, through an extended soil sampling program. Numerous targets were also confirmed across the Priboj Project through soil sampling programs, with RC drilling planned to follow up the Jelaca Copper Target and Zabrnjica Gold Target. The company is expanding its exploration capabilities with the expansion of its in-country team and infrastructure. During the quarter, the company also appointed Ms Sanela Karic as a Non-Executive Director and Peter Harding-Smith as Chief Financial Officer.
