Freedom Care Group Releases 2025 Annual Report
- Significant loss of $3.999 million for FY2025
- Loss of control over subsidiaries Freedom Care Group Pty Ltd and Regional Disability Services Group Pty Ltd
- Uncertainty around recovery of outstanding receivables from the National Disability Insurance Agency
Freedom Care Group Holdings Limited has released its Appendix 4E and 2025 Annual Report, reporting a loss of $3.999 million for the year ended 30 June 2025, compared to a profit of $891,000 in the previous year. This significant loss was largely due to the company losing control of its main trading entities, Freedom Care Group Pty Ltd and Regional Disability Care Pty Ltd, which were placed into liquidation during the financial year. As a result of the appointment of liquidators, the group no longer has the ability to direct the relevant activities of these entities or access their economic benefits. This has had a major impact on the financial operations of the consolidated entity. The group continues to engage with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) regarding the recovery of outstanding receivables held by the subsidiaries in liquidation, but payments from the NDIA have not been received on a regular basis and uncertainty remains regarding the timing and amount of any potential recoveries. The directors are currently assessing a range of strategic options to determine the future direction of the business, including potential corporate transactions, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships that may provide a pathway for the company to recommence operations and deliver value to shareholders.
