Caprice Resources Delivers Significant Drilling Results at Island Gold Project
- Phase 4 drilling extends high-grade gold mineralization at Vadrians prospect to 400m depth and 1,000m along strike
- New high-grade gold targets identified south of Vadrians for follow-up RC drilling
- Major 50,000m multi-rig drilling campaign commenced to advance Island Gold Project towards maiden Mineral Resource Estimate
Caprice Resources Ltd (ASX: CRS) has reported on a highly productive March 2026 quarter, with a steady stream of drilling results continuing to deliver significant continuity of high-grade gold intercepts at its flagship Island Gold Project in Western Australia's Murchison Goldfields. The Phase 4 drilling programme completed during the quarter has extended the Vadrians prospect both along strike and at depth, with mineralisation now defined over approximately 1km of strike and 400m vertical depth, remaining open in multiple directions. Highlights include 11m at 7.1 g/t gold from 353m, including 3m at 25.3 g/t gold, as well as 7m at 7.4 g/t gold from 295m. The company has also identified several new high-priority gold targets to the south of Vadrians through an extensive air core drilling campaign, including the First Light, Evening Star, Eureka, Chicago, Trig Gully, Orient Gully, and Ironclad Extended prospects. These shallow gold anomalies are interpreted to represent potential higher-grade mineralization at depth and will be prioritized for follow-up reverse circulation (RC) drilling. Caprice has also announced the commencement of a major 50,000m multi-rig drilling campaign across its Murchison portfolio, designed to rapidly advance the Island Gold Project towards a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate while unlocking the broader potential of the underexplored +5km gold corridor.
Caprice is well positioned to deliver ongoing results-driven news flow and potential new discoveries across its highly prospective Murchison portfolio through the remainder of 2026, with multiple rigs operating, a strong pipeline of assays pending, and new exploration programmes underway.
