Nexus Minerals Outlines Exploration Plans for Wallbrook Gold Project
- Crusader-Templar gold deposit progressing with permitting and technical studies
- ~22,000m RC drilling program planned to target resource growth at Clement, Payns and Branches prospects
- Existing Crusader-Templar resource of 304koz to be expanded and upgraded
Nexus Minerals has provided an update on its activities at the Wallbrook Gold Project during the March 2026 quarter. Key highlights include:- Crusader-Templar Gold Deposit: Nexus continues to de-risk the Crusader-Templar gold deposit through permitting and advanced technical studies. Critical operational permits are now in place for a stage 1 operation, and discussions with potential operational and toll treatment partners have progressed.- Exploration: Nexus has engaged a competent person to deliver an expanded project Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) planned for release in 2026. A ~22,000m RC drilling program will focus on three priority prospects - Clement, Payns and Branches. These prospects have been generated through 18 months of systematic exploration and demonstrate the scale, continuity and grade profile required to support resource definition drilling.- Crusader-Templar Deposit: The Crusader-Templar Deposit currently hosts a combined MRE of 304koz. The RC program includes targeted drilling to test northern and southern extensions to existing mineralised lodes and increase confidence to incorporate previously unmodelled mineralisation into the resource.- Other Projects: Updates are also provided on the Pinnacles JV Gold Project and the company's NSW Mineral Project, as well as ongoing research and development initiatives.
Nexus plans to continue advancing the Crusader-Templar resources for potential future operations, complete the ~22,000m RC drill program to facilitate the Wallbrook Gold Project MRE update, and progress heritage discussions and mine planning work on the Pinnacles Joint Venture.
