EOS continued its high levels of manufacturing and delivery activity for Remote Weapon Systems (RWS) globally during the quarter, with operations in Australia, the United States, and the newly opened facility in Singapore. The company secured several new orders, including a US$42m order for its Slinger Counter-Drone RWS from an established customer in the Middle East, a US$12m order for enhanced capability RWS for the US Army, and a contract for a naval R800 RWS to a large prime contractor in India. EOS' contract backlog increased 13% to $518m during the quarter. The company also made progress on potential future orders, including discussions with several countries regarding High Energy Laser Weapon systems and continued work to develop orders with existing and new customers for its Space Systems division. EOS announced a conditional agreement to acquire the MARSS business, a provider of AI-enabled command and control systems for counter-drone applications, and secured a $100m two-year secured term loan facility to support growth and provide liquidity. Operationally, the company continued to work on establishing a joint venture in the Middle East to manufacture and assemble its R150 RWS product as part of an offset program.
