Golden Cross Resources Ltd (GCR) has reported on its activities for the quarter ended 31 March 2026. Interest has not abated in GCR's flagship Copper Hill copper-gold porphyry project, located in the Lachlan Fold Belt region of central NSW. The ongoing work program is oriented towards provision of supporting information for a Mining Lease Application and associated Development Consent requirements, including further evaluation of the September 2022 Mineral Resource Estimate, maintenance of the site operations base, review of land use impacts, liaison with local government, environmental studies, and target definition in the Copper Hill corridor. In the Cobar region of NSW, GCR holds strategically located tenements, with recent exploration and discovery activity in the region at Wagga Tank, Mallee Bull and Federation. In the Gawler Craton of South Australia, GCR's tenements were located to test geophysical targets, with only the Stuart Range tenement remaining after the expiry of the Oolgelima tenement. GCR's subsidiary, King Eagle Resources, holds three phosphate deposits in the Queensland sector of the Georgina Basin province, which are now attracting explorers seeking rare earth elements. The West Wyalong project, a joint venture with Argent Minerals, is located immediately north along strike from the Temora Group of porphyry deposits, with further geophysics and drilling planned. During the quarter, GCR's exploration and evaluation expenditure totaled $40,000.
