Exploration Results from Myall FJVA Copper-Gold Project
- Anomalous copper intersected at Interceptor, located ~1 km south of the Corvette Kingswood inferred MRE
- Programs funded by FJVA partner FMG Resources Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Fortescue
- Assay results reported for aircore program and first three diamond drillholes
Magmatic Resources has reported exploration results from its Myall FJVA Copper-Gold Project in New South Wales, including anomalous copper intersections at the Interceptor Prospect, located ~1 km south of the Corvette Kingswood inferred mineral resource estimate. The FY2026 exploration programs were funded by FJVA partner FMG Resources Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fortescue Ltd, as part of an ongoing work program with an initial budget of ~$3.5M for FY2026 extended to ~$3.9M following the addition of a further $400,000 of diamond drilling. A total of 16 diamond drill holes for 6,240.4 m were completed at various prospects, with assay results reported for the first three holes. Highlights include 7 m at 0.19% Cu from 223 m, 10 m at 0.15% Cu from 365 m, and 36 m at 0.10% Cu, 0.03 g/t Au from 427 m in hole FMD0515 at the Interceptor Prospect. The November 2025 aircore program also returned a 4 m intersection grading 0.1% Cu from 92 m at the FJ Prospect. A 4.3 line-km induced polarization survey was completed but found to be limited by conductive cover, and further IP surveying is not considered justified. Weebo gold targets are also scheduled for follow-up drilling in Q2 2026.
Assay results for the remaining 13 diamond drill holes are expected later in the current quarter. Weebo gold targets are scheduled for follow-up drilling in Q2 2026.
