Full Summary

BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN, OTCQX: BRCHF, BCHPY), the world's first commercial producer of neuromorphic artificial intelligence technology, has entered into an IP distribution license agreement with ASICLAND Co., Ltd. ('ASICLAND'), a South Korea-based semiconductor solutions provider. Under the agreement, BrainChip has granted ASICLAND a non-exclusive, worldwide license to its Akida™ neuromorphic AI IP portfolio, including current generations of its neural processing technology. The agreement enables ASICLAND to integrate Akida IP into system-on-chip (SoC) designs for multiple end customers, subject to licensing approvals by BrainChip. ASICLAND will utilize the licensed Akida IP to design and develop custom SoC solutions incorporating embedded AI capabilities for its customers across a range of markets including edge AI, industrial, automotive, consumer and IoT applications. The agreement includes upfront evaluation and production license fees on a per-customer basis, ongoing volume-based royalties calculated on net sales of licensed products, and additional fees for optional services and software maintenance. BrainChip will provide ASICLAND with access to the Akida IP and associated runtime software, documentation, reference designs, and example AI models, and may also provide optional training, integration assistance, and technical support services. The agreement expands BrainChip's global semiconductor partner ecosystem and go-to-market strategy, enabling broader adoption of Akida technology while maintaining IP control and recurring revenue participation.
