Follow-up Diamond Drillhole Further Extends Nanadie System
- Extensive zones of visible chalcopyrite observed throughout the hole in NANRCD005
- Mineralisation intersected to at least 800m downhole, extending the system 500m below the current Mineral Resource Estimate
- Diamond drilling continues to test depth, strike and lateral extensions across the >1km long mineralised footprint
Solstice Minerals Limited has completed a follow-up diamond drillhole, NANRCD005, at the 100%-owned Nanadie Copper-Gold Project in Western Australia. The hole was drilled approximately 60m to the west of, and ended 180m below, the previous diamond hole NANRCD004, which recently reported visible chalcopyrite (copper sulphide) in multiple zones downhole. NANRCD005 has intersected extensive zones of visible chalcopyrite throughout the hole, reinforcing the scale and continuity of the mineralised system at Nanadie. The mineralisation was intersected to at least 800m downhole, with sulphide styles and concentrations broadly comparable to those observed in the previous hole. This extends the interpreted mineralised system to approximately 500m below the current 2022 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) boundary. Geological logging and core processing is ongoing, with first laboratory assay results expected in 4-6 weeks. The diamond drilling campaign continues to test depth, strike and lateral extensions across the >1km long mineralised footprint, with the rig also following up and extending any emerging higher-grade copper-gold intercepts. A concurrent 10,000m Phase 2 RC drill program is also progressing, with eight holes completed to date and observed geology broadly consistent with previous RC drilling.
The diamond drilling campaign continues to test depth, strike and lateral extensions across the >1km long mineralised footprint, while also extending higher-grade copper-gold intercepts at or near end of recent RC drillholes.
