Drilling Confirms Mineralisation Model at Ned's Creek
Key Points
  • 10,000m RC drilling program over 50% complete with assays pending
  • Targeted shear zone and mineralised sequence confirmed
  • First assays include 9m @ 1.27g/t Au and 15m @ 1.46g/t Au
Full Summary

Lodestar Minerals is pleased to provide an update on its 10,000m Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling campaign at the Ned's Creek Gold Project in Western Australia. Over 6,000m of the planned program has now been completed, with 48 holes drilled to date. The drilling has confirmed the targeted shear zone and mineralised sequence, with multiple positive geological indicators such as hematite alteration, syenite intrusions, sulphides, quartz veins and strongly sheared units intersected. The first batch of assay results from the initial two drill holes have returned significant intersections, including 9m @ 1.27g/t Au from 32m, including 1m @ 6.55g/t Au, and 15m @ 1.46g/t Au from 151m, including 2m @ 4.34g/t Au. This drilling program is designed to support the delivery of a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the Ned's Creek Gold Project in 2026.

Outlook

The company is looking forward to reporting further assay results as they become available from the ongoing 10,000m RC drilling program, which is expected to provide data to support geological modelling and Mineral Resource estimation as well as metallurgical testwork for the Ned's Creek Gold Project.
