Ora Banda Mining Ltd (OBM) has announced a substantial increase in its Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves for the Davyhurst Gold Project. The total Mineral Resource estimate has increased to 54.8 million tonnes (Mt) at 2.0 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (Au) for 3.57 million ounces (Moz), an increase of 1.46 Moz from the previous estimate. The total Ore Reserve estimate has also increased to 7.8 Mt at 2.2 g/t Au for 5552 kilo ounces (koz), up from the previous estimate. The increase is primarily due to the Round Dam Open Pit Resource, which increased by 964% to 25.6 Mt @ 1.6 g/t Au for 1,330 koz, and the Waihi Open Pit and Underground Resource, which increased by 114% to 7.3 Mt at 2.1 g/t Au for 482 koz. The company also announced the maiden Waihi Underground Ore Reserve of 825 kt at 3.8 g/t Au for 101 koz, including the Golden Pole lode. Pending assay results from recent drilling at Round Dam are expected to be incorporated in the Annual Resources and Reserves update for Q4 FY26. The maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for Little Gem is scheduled for H1 FY27.
