Ballard Mining (ASX:BM1) has released its updated Quarterly Activities Report for the quarter ending 31 March 2026. The report highlights significant increases in the mineral resource estimates (MRE) for the Mt Ida Gold Project, with the global MRE now standing at 12.3 Mt @ 3.0 g/t Au for 1.2 Moz gold, and the Baldock MRE at 9.0 Mt @ 3.5 g/t Au for 1.0 Moz gold. The company's 220,000m resource growth drilling program has shown promising results, with notable high-grade intersections both at Baldock and other regional prospects. Ballard is also advancing its project development workstreams, with metallurgical studies nearing completion and a robust cash balance of $75.6 million at the end of March 2026 following a $61 million placement in January.
