AnteoTech Announces Successful Validation of Ultranode 95 in Drone-Suitable Battery Cells
- Independent validation of Ultranode 95 in 5 Ah Multi-Layer Pouch cells completed at BIC
- Ultranode 95 achieves >390 Wh/kg, over 40% higher than traditional anodes
- Validation supports commercial deployment in drones, UAVs, and other high-performance applications
- Positive feedback received from potential customers
- Next step involves testing 18650 cylindrical cells
AnteoTech Ltd has completed independent third-party validation of its Ultranode 95 anode technology in 5 Ah Multi-Layer Pouch (MLP) cells at the Battery Innovation Centre (BIC) in the United States. This validation follows earlier successful tests in Coin and Single Layer Pouch (SLP) cells. The Ultranode 95 MLP configuration offers over 390 Wh/kg, significantly higher than traditional anodes, making it ideal for applications requiring lightweight, high-energy batteries such as drones, UAVs, robotics, and consumer devices. BIC testing achieved over 300 cycles at 70% capacity retention, exceeding performance targets for many defense drone applications. AnteoTech is now progressing to cylindrical cell production and is in discussions with potential customers for further testing and integration.
AnteoTech is moving forward with the production of 18650 cylindrical cells incorporating Ultranode 95, aiming to expand its applications in high-performance battery markets.
