Taylor brings over 40 years of experience in drug development, including 19 years with BioCryst where he was involved in the original development of Galidesivir. His extensive experience includes securing over US$490 million in US Government funding and managing US$125 million in procurement contracts for the US Strategic National Stockpile. Taylor's appointment is timely as global concerns about filovirus outbreaks, including Ebola and Sudan virus, escalate.
