Munda Gold Deposit Mineral Resource Increased by 32%
- Munda Gold Deposit Mineral Resource increased by 32% to 4.20 Mt at 1.43 g/t
- Grade control drilling during mining returned numerous high-grade intercepts
- Resource remains open along strike and at depth, with drill planning underway
Auric Mining Ltd has announced an increase in the estimated Mineral Resources at the Munda Gold Deposit, now estimated at 4.20 million tonnes at a grade of 1.43 grams per tonne (g/t), representing a 32% increase from the December 2024 estimate. The increase is attributed to grade control drilling during the mining of the Munda Starter Pit, which returned numerous high-grade intercepts, supporting the re-estimation. The resource remains open along strike and at depth, with ongoing drill planning for infill and resource extension. The re-estimation also incorporates information from the mining of the Starter Pit, including mill-reconciled gold production, which was 46% higher than expected. A Scoping Study is currently underway to assess the combined development of the Munda open pit and Burbanks Processing Plant.
4.20 Mt at 1.43 g/t for 192,000 oz Au
The resource remains open along strike and at depth, with ongoing exploration and drilling expected to continue expanding the gold resource.
