Delorean Corporation Ltd has announced that construction of its first 100%-owned SA1 Salisbury Bioenergy Facility in Adelaide is 75% complete. The project is on track for acceptance of waste in August 2026 and first renewable gas (biomethane) injection into the Adelaide gas network in November 2026. The facility will process 70,000 tonnes per annum of organic waste from the Adelaide metro area, producing 210 TJ per annum of renewable gas and 6,000 tonnes per annum of biogenic food grade liquid CO2. The project is maintaining a strong safety performance with zero lost time injuries recorded to date. SA1 is a template for the rollout of Delorean's shovel-ready and near-term infrastructure project portfolio, with NSW1 and VIC1 facilities expected to enter construction in CY2026.
