Gold Mineralisation Extended at Depth at Hopes Hill
- Deep RC drilling at Hopes Hill North confirms high-grade gold mineralisation.
- Hole 26HHRC024 returned 12m @ 7.0 g/t Au from 278m, a significant step-out.
- Mineralisation at Hopes Hill extends over 3km in strike length.
- Ongoing drilling and assaying activities to provide further results.
Golden Horse Minerals Limited has reported significant gold mineralisation at depth in the Hopes Hill North zone of its Southern Cross Gold Project. The first deep reverse circulation (RC) hole at Hopes Hill North, 26HHRC024, returned 12m @ 7.0 g/t Au from 278m, including 5m @ 14.5 g/t Au from 282m. This result represents a significant step-out from previous hole GHHHRC0102, which returned 15m @ 1.5 g/t Au from 265m, located under the northern end of the existing Hopes Hill pit. The mineralisation is associated with quartz, pyrrhotite, pyrite, and pervasive biotite alteration, similar to the mineralisation at the 54koz Au Pilot mine. The company's geological model now supports a mineralised system at Hopes Hill that exceeds 3km in strike length, with approximately 1.5km tested underneath the historic 216koz Au pit at Hopes Hill.
The company plans to continue drilling and assaying activities to further define the mineralised system at Hopes Hill and test the geological model.
