Minrex Resources Ltd. has commenced a fully funded drilling program at the Barje Deposit, the cornerstone of its Tlamino Gold Project in southern Serbia. The program, led by regional contractor Drillex International, aims to convert Inferred Mineral Resources to the Indicated category and test step-out extensions of mineralisation. Historical drilling at Barje has reported significant intercepts, including 30.0m @ 5.45 g/t Au & 11 g/t Ag. The current program is the first drilling at Barje in approximately seven years and is expected to deliver initial assay results during the September quarter, with an updated Mineral Resource Estimate and a refreshed scoping study targeted thereafter.
Initial assay results expected Q3 2026, updated Mineral Resource Estimate and scoping study by year-end
The drilling program is expected to support an updated economic study at contemporary metal prices, building on the Preliminary Economic Assessment completed in 2021.
