Tasmea Ltd (ASX: TEA) has announced the acquisition of Maxim Group Australia Pty Ltd, a leading specialist electrical contractor, for up to A$254 million. The acquisition will be funded through a combination of cash, scrip, and an earn-out based on Maxim achieving specific EBIT targets. The deal is expected to close around July 1, 2026, subject to customary conditions, including ACCC approval. The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings, with a forecast 31% pro forma EPS accretion in FY26e. Maxim Group, with its strong presence in Data Centres, Infrastructure, and Renewable Energy, will significantly expand Tasmea's capabilities and market reach.
