Elixir Energy Limited, a major player in the Taroom Trough of Queensland's Bowen Basin, has announced the commencement of the Lorelle-3H well's stimulation, completion, and testing phase. The Diagnostic Fracture Injection Test (DFIT) is underway to measure reservoir pressures and gather critical data. The well will undergo an 11-stage stimulation with operations starting in mid-June. Following the stimulation, a flow-back and testing phase will begin in late June, aiming to deliver a high-quality IP30 data set to support the well's primary objectives.

Elixir Energy is optimistic about the potential of the Lorelle-3H well to demonstrate commercial flow rates of gas and condensate, which could lead to a maiden reserve conversion.
